“And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.” (Exodus 33:19 ESV)
Nursing Home Ministry
On the first Sunday of each month, members from KVPC travel to West Haven Nursing Home on William Penn Care Center to offer a worship service and to visit with residents. Anyone is invited along to sing, pray, and worship with the residents.
Meals Ministry
When a member of the church is in the hospital, when some one loses a loved one, or when a family welcomes a new baby the church organizes to provide meals and comfort for the family. Anyone can sign up to participate in the meals ministry.
Mercy Projects
Throughout the year the church organizes collections and projects to engage in. We’ve participated in Samaritan’s Purse, Angel Tree, Treasures for Children, a well building project in Africa, and purchasing mosquito nets to help prevent malaria.
Mercy Fund
Often the church gets requests for financial help. The deacons administer a mercy fund to meet such needs. When making a request, we ask the requester to join us for worship, speak face to face with a deacon, and follow up with spiritual or financial counseling with a deacon or elder.
