Elders and Deacons
Elders are men, set apart by God, to lead the church. There are lay elders, who volunteer their time and gifts and wisdom. We call them ruling elders. There are full time elders who are seminary trained, who teach and preach, and we call them teaching elders, or ministers. Elders meet monthly for prayer and decision making.
